Technical Application Engineer

Royal De Heus operates in various regions, including Africa. Previously, individual business units used their own IT landscapes. A standard framework has been developed for this, which means using the same CRM, ERP package, and business applications. This is where your role comes in! The applications are custom-developed to meet our needs. You specialize in managing these applications and troubleshooting technical disruptions. This includes:

• Managing and optimizing in-house developed applications based on SQL, C#, and .NET.
• Supporting local business units with technical second and third-line issues.
• Coordinating technical issues with suppliers when you can’t resolve them yourself.
• Creating documentation and user manuals.

You will work in a large and challenging IT environment with a focus on Africa. This will be within a driven and personal organization. Your support will make users happy with the transition to Royal De Heus applications! Additionaly?

• A salary between € 4.250,- and € 5.750,- based on 40 hours per week;

You will work at the headquarters of Royal De Heus in Ede (NL), one of the largest family businesses in the Netherlands. We are an international company focused on animal feed. We produce and supply animal feed products for various animals, including poultry, pigs, cattle, and pets. Internally, you will experience a down-to-earth and entrepreneurial atmosphere. Worldwide we have dozens of production locations. The Global IT department consists of about 40 colleagues. The team you will work with is new and initially consists of 3 colleagues, including you. Together, the focus is on a uniform IT landscape within Royal De Heus. To achieve this, you may sometimes travel to Africa! On the work floor, speaking English is essential, and a good command of Dutch is an advantage in dealing with your Dutch colleagues.

• Convincing experience in managing and troubleshooting business applications and ERP systems, using SQL databases, SQL queries, .NET, and C#.
• At least 3 years of experience as a technical application manager or in a similar role.
• Higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking and working.
• Fluent command of the English language.
